Improve DJUG Jobs Mailing List

Accomplishment

More than 440 postings to the Jobs mailing list in 2004, the most posted in a single year since the mailing list began.

In the 2003 survey, jobs was the number three reason for members attending the monthly meeting.

  • Restructured the process to decrease approval time
  • Conducted outreach campaign to inform companies and recruiters of the mailing list

Accomplishment

Java Book Swap allowed more than 20 members to exchange books.

Members were allowed to do a 1-to-1 book exchange at the monthly meeting.
